After teasing its collaboration with adidas on the Ultra4D back in November, Charlotte-based sneaker boutique Social Status has now served up a closer look and a release date for its limited-edition pair.

The Social Status x adidas Ultra4D takes the Primeknit form of the adidas UltraBOOST 1.0 and pairs this to an “Aero Green” printed sole unit that’s constructed using advanced technology that combines light and oxygen to create a three-dimensional object.

This signature base is then paired to a Social Status-designed upper that’s inspired by the Renaissance period, most notably drawing from the color palette used for Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Much like the painting, this collaborative pair is set to become an instant classic thanks to its limited run, mix of colors, and future-forward aesthetic.

On the toe and vamp, you’ll see a combination of khaki green and camel Primeknit, which lends itself nicely to the suede Three Stripe-inclusive lace cage. The rear is finished in a burnt orange-tinted Primeknit, which is accompanied by a matching Ultra4D-branded heel clip. The colors are rounded out by a gum outsole and off white laces.

Social Status will be releasing just 3,020 pairs of its adidas Ultra4D. The sneaker will be available on December 4 at Social Status stores and on its website. Take a closer look at the pair above.
