LeBron James and Microsoft Invite Fans to Submit Ideas for a 'Space Jam: A New Legacy' Game
“The loonier, the better.”
In celebration of the upcoming Space Jam: A New Legacy, Microsoft is looking to create a video game for the highly anticipated sequel, and LeBron James and Bugs Bunny are asking for your help to create it.
On December 14, the tech giant and its gaming division Xbox launched a contest for fans to submit their own ideas for a potential Space Jam video game, which it says will be based on an arcade-styled experience. Anyone above the age of 14 are eligible to participate, and Microsoft is inviting you to think outside the box, “the loonier the better!” All you’ll have to do is choose a gaming genre using a key image and then describe your idea in 500 words.
Two winners will ultimately be selected by the team and have their ideas turned into reality, which will then become available as a Perk for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members next year. Of course, there’ll also be a range of other prizes for them, including having their names featured in the game credits, an exclusive winner’s bundle with autographed LeBron James memorabilia, Nike VIP packs, merch from Space Jam: A New Legacy, a private screening of the film for friends and family, a personalized Xbox Series S console, and even a virtual Microsoft coding workshop for their local community.
Open from now through to December 30, fans interested in joining the contest can head over to Microsoft’s official page.
