Lil Wayne Drops Visual for Drake-Sampled Cut "Something Different"

The “Laugh Now Cry Later” flip comes from Weezy’s latest release, ‘No Ceilings 3.’

Lil Wayne has shared an accompanying music video for his No Ceilings 3 cut, “Something Different.”

Sampling Drake‘s “Laugh Now Cry Later,” the visual is directed by Weezy himself and sees the rapper taking the audience on a tour of his home. He’s dressed in Gucci throughout the music video and even takes a quick dip in his pool, taking out his phone underwater and seemingly leaving it there to sink. Comparisons can be drawn to Drizzy’s own “Toosie Slide” video where the Canadian artist struts around his mansion, but Wayne’s take on the concept is much brighter and, quite literally, sunnier.

No Ceilings 3 dropped in late November and hears Lil Wayne jumping on cuts like the late Pop Smoke‘s “Dior,” “Shake the Room” and “For the Night” and Travis Scott‘s “SICKO MODE.” Drake and Young Thug also appear on the mixtape, along with Wayne’s sons Young Kam Carter, Lil Tune and Young Carter.

Elsewhere in music, Chance The Rapper is facing a lawsuit filed by his former manager Pat Corcoran.
