Watch the Transformation Sequences From the Upcoming 'Sailor Moon Eternal' Anime Film
No fear, the Sailor Guardians are here.
Despite multiple delays due to COVID-19, Toei‘s two-part Sailor Moon Eternal anime film is pushing forward with its 2021 release.
Last week, the official website for the Sailor Moon franchise released a new video showing the transformation sequence for six Sailor Guardians. Led by Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon, the duo kick off the introduction to the new look of the film. Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus show off their power for the direct continuation and a fourth season for the Sailor Moon Crystal anime series.
Serving as the first film from the Sailor Moon series in 25 years, the big screen feature is set to cover the Dream arc of the original Sailor Moon manga by Naoko Takeuchi. The first part of Sailor Moon Eternal is set to open January 8, 2021, while the second installment will premiere February 11, 2021.
