Lil Durk Pays Homage to King Von in "Backdoor" Visual

Lil Durk honored the late King Von in the accompanying music video for his latest cut, “Backdoor.”
Directed by Jerry Production, the visual sees Durk sporting Von’s signature O’Block chain as he raps with friends and counts his money. The OTF founder also took to Instagram Stories to share a text message conversation between him and the late rapper, which sees Durk notifying Von that he’ll be filming the music video with the chain on that day, and Von replying that he’ll get it cleaned for him.
King Von was only 26 years old when he was shot and killed outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge in Atlanta on November 6. An argument reportedly broke out between two groups at around 3 a.m., resulting in gunfire and leaving six injured with three (including Von) dying from their wounds. The Atlanta Police Department arrested and charged 22-year-old Timothy Leeks with Von’s murder just a few days after the altercation.
