Converse Launches its New HEART OF THE CITY Collection
Inspired by L.A., Paris and Shanghai.
Converse has dropped its new HEART OF THE CITY collection inspired from basketball, street culture, and nightlife in three cities — Los Angeles, Paris and Shanghai — that grasps iconic elements of each respective city.
Heart of Los Angeles explores the Venice Beach cultures in its Chuck 70, G4, and Pro Leather, using blue to represent the sky over the skateboarding and basketball paradise. For pieces inspired by the architecture and natural landscapes of Paris, the Chuck 70, G4, and Pro Leather set the base with cement gray, embellished by patterns of flowers and embossed leather to symbolize its street culture. Heart of Shanghai includes the Chuck 70, All Star BB EVO, and Pro Leather and wraps the silhouette with obsidian, and logo with neon layers — the combination of blacks and brights mimic the mesmerizing night time scenery of Nanjing Road Walkway.
The new HEART OF THE CITY collection is now available on Converse China’s official website, offline stores, and selected stockists.
