All eyes have been fixated on the Nike Dunk this year, and now the hoops-turned-lifestyle model is concluding 2020 with a high-profile collaboration with Bodega. Prior to today, the Boston-based imprint had unveiled its wider release variation, but now it has announced that a friends and family colorway will accompany as well.
This particular pair won’t be sold, but given out by way of random selection. One out of every 20 pairs of the Bodega x Nike Dunk “Legend” will arrive packaged with a limited edition sports cards and a voucher that allows customers to obtain a pair of the exclusive friends and family colorway completely free of charge. Details of how to snag your free pair will be printed on the aforementioned card.
Design-wise, it keeps all of the sandlot-inspired elements such as tortoise jeweled Swooshes, as well as the exposed ankle stitchings and loosely hanging glove laces, but flips it in a way that dyes the mid-foot paneling with lighter grey suede overlays and off-white toe boxes. Angelic midsoles are kept consistent as well, but the outsoles are dialed to a slightly higher tinted brown that its GR counterpart.
