Classic Skating Photography Informs adidas’ Sabalo Sneaker
Drawing inspiration from the archetypal fisheye lens.
adidas has delved into its archives to look back at some of skateboarding’s most memorable images to seek inspiration for its latest Sabalo sneaker.
Drawing on the shapes and lines created using the classic fisheye lens, the upper features curved lines and sits atop a quintessential vulcanised rubber outsole. A cushioned sockliner has been designed for all-day comfort, while the leather upper makes for an all-round durable sneaker.
Arriving in an all-black colorway, each sneaker is completed with an embroidered trefoil on the side wall and typically grippy sole.
Available now from the brand’s webstore, the adidas Sabalo retails at £60 (approximately $80 USD).
