Classic Fairytales Inspire bentgablenits' Upcoming Sweater Release
Reworking deadstock cashmere pieces from The Elder Statesman.
Continuing its initiative to repurpose forgotten treasures in hope of igniting a cycle that understands the environmental consequences tied to fashion with a contemporary outlook, bentgablenits has reworked deadstock items from The Elder Statesman for a range of Fairytales Sweaters.
The latest offering of signature upcycled wares are constructed of premium cashmere accented by textural decorations to bring out a new beauty and quality. Classic fairytales that have stood the test of time are represented on each sweater through hand-applied oya crochet flowers, velvet shapes, velour and hand-stitching. The bright and bold luxurious bases serve canvases for expressions of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, The Boy Who Cried Wolf by Aesop, Snow White by The Brothers Grimm, Jack and the Beanstalk by Joseph Jacobs, Beauty and the Beast by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve and more.
Check out the Fairytales Sweaters above and look for the release to be available on bentgablenits’ website December 17, 2 p.m. EST.
