Detailed Look at the Air Jordan 13 "Black Royal"

To cap off the end of 2020, the Jumpman family is once again thrusting the Air Jordan 13 back into the spotlight to show off its forthcoming “Black Royal” colorway. First teased towards the latter half of March, the two-toned makeup essentially bears the same form of color-blocking seen on the model’s iconic “Bred” makeup, only it has been modernized with “Hyper Blue” accents.

A stark black hue takes charge in shrouding a majority of the real estate here including the upper’s pockmarked lateral and medial side paneling, smooth leather toe boxes, shoe strings and the throat. The aforementioned “Hyper Blue” notes sit adjacent and cast over the base’s underlays and heightened sections of the midsole. The silhouette’s signature cat-inspired holographic eye located atop the lateral heel bears its signature slime green tint and alternating “23” and “Jumpman” logos.

Underneath, the chevron-patterned outsole features black borders, white chevron-patterned treading, and a marble-backdropped Jordan Brand hit skewed towards the lateral side of each foot in the offering’s titular hue.

For those interested in copping, be sure to mark your calendars for a December 19 release via Nike SNKRS and select retailers and note that they will be dropping in full family sizes. Retail price for the adult pair is set for $190 USD.
