The Weeknd Embodies Isolation With "Alone Again" Vevo Live Performance
The first of his three-part performance series for the video hosting service.
Shortly after his performance of “Save Your Tears/In Your Eyes” for The 2020 American Music Awards, The Weeknd is continuing his live vision of After Hours with a live rendition of “Alone Again” for Vevo.
Directed by Vevo’s Micah Bickham with help from XO Creative Director La Mar Taylor, the performance sees the Canadian artist embodying isolation in his now-signature red suit. Lacerated and sporting a swollen bleeding nose, The Weeknd begins performing “Alone Again” in a bare room illuminated by washes of red light and bright white flashes.
The Vevo Live Performance of “Alone Again” kicks of The Weeknd’s three-part performance series for the video hosting service which will end November 25.
