Nike's Armored Air Force 1 NDSTRKT Boasts Rugged Rubberized Details
A workboot-inspired, ready for anything take on the beloved Nike Sportswear silhouette.
After debuting armored NDSTRKT embellishments on the Air Max 95, Nike Sportswear has added them to the Air Force 1 Low to create the new Air Force 1 NDSTRKT. Though the moniker calls to mind Dennis Rodman‘s classic Air Shake NDestrukt, this low-cut Air Force 1‘s build is in an entirely different ballpark: it bolsters the seminal sneaker with rubberized pieces over the toebox and heel alike.
The base for these embellishments is a classic white leather upper, given a little extra personality with hi-vis reflective Swooshes and heel tabs plus suede mudguards. Toeboxes are covered by a large black rubber shield that boasts a duo of patterns, creeps up onto the midfoot and drops down over the toe cap and midsole alike. Heels add a similarly-styled piece complete with a tab for ease of entry and removal. The standard Nike tongue badge is gone as well, replaced by a black rubberized iteration. White midsoles and outsoles round off the look.
Seemingly equal parts NSW, Nike ISPA and Nike N. 354, the Nike Air Force 1 NDSTRKT will release at Japanese retailers like atmos come December 1, and is priced at ¥18,150 JPY (approximately $174 USD). Info on a global arrival has yet to be announced.
