Disney Offers Another Look at the Upcoming 'Star Wars' Hotel
Along with the ‘Avengers’ Campus, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s ‘Ratatouille’ Adventure.
During the IAAPA Expo: Virtual Education Conference earlier this week, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experience and Products, Josh D’Amaro offered a preview of what the attraction division has to offer next year and in the years to come.
Building on its popular franchises some projects in the works include Avengers Campus at Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
But the most anticipated part of the preview was the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The latest look reaffirms that the attraction is a “completely new type of experience” that invites guests to become the hero of their own Star Wars adventure. When guests arrive for their two-day, two-night stay at Walt Disney World they will go to a special terminal before they are ushered into a launch pod that will blast them into space towards the Halcyon.
Arriving at the atrium of the starcruiser, guests will be immersed in an experience in a galaxy far, far away. Accommodations are modeled like the cabins of a starcruiser that sleep up to five and serve as areas of rest from the variety of activities for adults and kids. The stay also features an excursion to the planet of Batuu to visit Black Spire Outpost, Galaxy’s Edge.
