Extra Butter Is Raffling off Custom Lasered Nike Dunk Lows to Raise Money for Charity
All proceeds will benefit Hour Children, a nonprofit organization serving formerly and currently incarcerated women and their children.



New York-based retailer Extra Butter recently opened a new location in Long Island City, Queens, and now it’s lending a charitable hand to the World’s Borough by offering up a custom-lasered take on
Limited to a dozen pairs, the style is almost entirely unaltered — retaining its classic leather build and white/red colorblocking. However, the lateral heel of each shoe features a special “QNS” hit, encircled by “Extra Butter” and “New York” text. The “University Red” color scheme is a fitting Dunk choice for this giveaway as well: it first debuted on a Dunk High in 1985 as part of Nike’s seminal “Be True to Your School” pack, and was made to represent New York’s Saint John’s University.
Interested parties can enter Extra Butter’s charity raffle until November 25. Tickets are $5 USD each, and buyers can purchase as many as they’d like. Winners will be announced via an Instagram Live session on Extra Butter’s page at 5PM ET on November 25, and will be able to purchase one of the 12 shoes for $100 USD.
