AMBUSH and Converse Prep Duo of CTAS Duck Boot Styles
Bright blue and muted black makeups of the Chuck Taylor All-Star-inspired boot.

After showing off a fur-coated Chuck 70 in recent weeks, AMBUSH and Converse have readied the second part of their holiday 2020 footwear collection: a duo of dashing CTAS Duckboots. Arriving in a bright blue dubbed “Blythe” and a simple-yet-effective black, both boots serve as an apt follow-up to the duo’s last winter footwear collaboration — 2019’s rugged Chuck 70 and Pro Leather reworks.
First teased by AMBUSH’s Yoon Ahn all the way back in January, the boot’s tightly-woven mesh uppers are overlaid by rubberized pieces on the high-rising mudguard, toebox and fused eyestays. Laces wrap all the way around the collar, holding shape by passing through the lower half of the heel tab, and a Chuck Taylor All Star style badge appears on the lateral quarter. Collar lining is thick and padded in classic boot style, while down below AMBUSH graphics and each shoe’s size are printed on the heel. Thick lugged midsoles complete each look by featuring a classic Chuck traction pattern.
The AMBUSH x Converse CTAS Duck Boot collection will release on the Converse webstore and via retailers like HBX come November 24. The MSRP for each pair is set at $160 USD.
