Known for its forward-thinking take on classic garments, Italian label Valentino has now introduced its Buckle-Detail Lace-Up Shoes for Fall/Winter 2020.

After briefly appearing in the brand’s Empathy campaign which featured the likes of Anwar Hadid, Naomi Campbell and Liu Wen, Valentino now offers a closer look at the chunky-soled winter-ready footwear.

Crafted using premium leather with a smooth grain feel, each shoe features a round toe with lace-up and strap-fastening, behind a logo-engraved buckle all sat on a chunky rubber sole. Coming in an all-black colorway, each shoe arrives with an understated look, yet is elevated by the oversized sole and eye-catching buckle finish.

Available now from LN-CC, Valentino’s Buckle-Detail Lace-Up Shoes retail from £670 (approximately $867 USD).

In other news, Eye/LOEWE/Nature’s FW20 collection is a colorful exercise in upcycling.
