The North Face Draws on 70s Ski Wear For Latest Release
Arriving in orange, black and taupe colorways.

After launching its reworked 1994 Retro Himalayan Parka last week, The North Face has unveiled its latest a retro-inspired offering in the form of the Larkspur Jacket.
Based on women’s ski wear from the late seventies, the cuffs and hem are ribbed for protection from the snow and wind, while the collar is also raised and rounded. The reintroduced down baffle structure has become something of a rarity in recent years, an inclusion taken from the original ski collection.
As an environmental consideration, The North Face has also adopted a recycled polyester fabric with a water-repellent finish on the outer material, and used “PRIMALOFT” GOLD LUXE made from used PET bottles for the batting.
Arriving in orange, black and taupe, each coat comes in both men’s and women’s sizes. Retailing from ¥35,000 (approximately $330 USD), the Larkspur Jackets are set to drop mid-October via The North Face webstore.
