Tarvas Drops Its Line-up of Weather-Resistant Sneakers
A three-piece outdoors-inspired release.

After its hiking collaboration with Tanner Goods earlier this year, Finnish footwear label Tarvas has returned for Fall/Winter 2020 with a three-piece outdoors-inspired offering. Established in 2017, Tarvas was born out of a vision to create shoes that are not only pleasing aesthetically, but that also offer resistance to the unpredictable Nordic weather.
For FW20 the brand has dropped its “Black Sole Edition” comprising three premium takes on its popular Explorer silhouette. After finding itself the focus of a collaboration with Engineered Garments last year, the Explorer quickly became the brand’s most recognizable shoe.
The upper of each shoe has been made using a premium water repellant Italian suede with a full leather lining. The rubber mudguard provides 360 degree weather protection too, while the natural rubber sole provides enhanced grip.
Manufactured in Finland, each shoe retails at £265 (approximately $335 USD) and are available from C’H'C’M’, Nitty Gritty and Peggs & Son.
