New Balance Holds on to Summer With Made in the USA 990v5 "Sunrise"
By using a warm, peachy orange tone.

Summer is in the rearview mirror and fall’s crisp breezes are here, but New Balance is holding on to solstice warmth just a touch longer with the 990v5 “Sunrise.” A made in the USA style, the “Sunrise” offers warm tones and a sturdy build to bridge the gap between the two seasons.
Eponymous “Sunrise” hues — warm, peachy orange tones — are splayed across the upper, appearing on both the sporty mesh base and the soft suede overlays. This similarly-colored material duo is accented with perforated gray leather detailing around the toebox, midfoot and heel, two-tone tongue badges and a semi-translucent TPU shank by the collar.
A lion’s share of the branding is provided by gray-rimmed, “Sunset” N logos on the quarter panels and a barely visible gray 990 stamp on the lateral heel. Gray heel counters and a two-tone ENCAP midsole supply stability and support to match the upper’s style, with gray rubber outsoles rounding off the look.
The made in the USA New Balance 990v5 “Sunrise” is available on the New Balance webstore now, and is priced at $175 USD.
