Herschel Supply Celebrates 10th Anniversary With "Birds of Herschel" Collection
Including a collaboration with furniture brand Modernica.
In the last decade, the Vancouver-based brand Herschel Supply has become synonymous with stylish and functional lifestyle goods. To mark its 10-year anniversary, the company is dipping into its extensive archive to bring back a meaningful print alongside a new collaboration with furniture brand Modernica. More than just a sought-after motif, the Birds of Herschel collection features birds from the town of Herschel, Saskatchewan, where three generations of the label’s founding family grew up.
Coming through in three colorways, including “Natural,” Peacoat” and “Dark Green,” the celebratory series adorns Herschel’s signature bags in a vibrant all-over print. Among the collection’s styles are the Heritage Backpack, Little America Backpack, Nova Mid-Volume and Mini Backpacks, Novel Duffle, Nineteen Hip Pack and Cruz Crossbody. Each is finished with leather details and the brand’s classic white woven label in addition to an exclusive Herschel 10th Anniversary label that reads “ten years flew by.”
Taking the Birds of Herschel collection to even greater heights, the brand has partnered with Modernica for a limited-edition chair. The motif is applied to the iconic Shell Eiffel Chair, recognized for its mid-century style, fiberglass seat and metal legs. A debossed natural leather branding detail and custom metal rivets round out the exclusive product and commemorate the partnership.
The Birds of Herschel Collection is available now on Herschel Supply’s website with prices ranging from $42 to $120 USD. The Herschel Supply x Modernica Shell Eiffel Chair is also available on the brand’s website for $595 USD.
