Suicoke's JudJud-An Slip-On Combines Tabi Toes With Technical Looks
Made from faux leather and jersey.
Everything is a slipper now, and one of the companies that has best adopted this trend is Suicoke. Although the Japanese label has been making mules and the likes for years, its roster is becoming more interesting each season — especially as it has just dropped the all-new JudJud-An slip-on.
The Suicoke JudJud-An is a backless mule that’s both technical and indebted to traditional Japanese design cues. For example, there is a cleft toe — more commonly known as the tabi style — and the shoes are beautifully minimal. Grained faux-leather has been used on the upper, with only perforations on the medial side and a Suicoke-branded tab next to them distracting from the clean aesthetic.
At the rear, all you see is a chunky molded rubber midsole and an entryway into the JudJud-An, which is trimmed in a tonal jersey cuff for extra coziness.
Suicoke’s JudJud-An retails for $185 USD and can be bought at stockists such as LN-CC now. Take a closer look at the pair above.
