Spyder Presents Vibrant Performance-Inspired Sportswear for SS21

As Milan Fashion Week entered a new digital era, luxury performance brand Spyder recruited visual artist Carlos Serao to produce a compelling performance art film for its latest SS21 collection. Inspired by everyday life situations becoming extraordinary, the campaign film depicts the dynamics of sports and the aspiration towards a new life that exists somewhere between reality and fantasy.

Titled ‘Unreal Reality’, the conceptual film is split into four distinct chapters. The first chapter’s zero-gravity movements spotlight the freedom of performance, while the second chapter displays the intersection between reality and virtual. The film interrupts the viewer’s perception with a revolving satellite camera in the third chapter. Finally, the fourth chapter closes the campaign with synchronized routines to showcase the functionality of the garments.

Spyder aims to symbolize sports’ beauty through the medium of clothing, showcasing how it can be used as a tool to overcome challenges and misfortunes during turbulent times. The collection delivers a diverse range of fabrics to create different textures and tactile effects, highlighting the functional ergonomic cuts of performance T-shirts, leggings, hoodies, vests and windbreakers.
