After unveiling his series of Rain Paintings at the Parrish Art Museum in New York’s Southampton neighborhood, Lucien Smith returns with a fresh batch of apparel and headwear for his non-profit, Serving The People (STP). The delivery consists of a collaborative short-sleeve work shirt with NYC-based label Peels, trucker hats in four different color ways embellished with the STP logo and a mossy oak cap with “Krispy Kreme” branding on the front portion.

In an exclusive interview from HYPEBEAST Magazine Issue 29, Smith told us that his mission for Serving The People is to showcase his work alongside the creations of like-minded, interdisciplinary artists without the commercial bias of the art industry. He wants it to become an inclusive platform which supports all kinds of artists, even musicians. “Artists are doing more than just painting these days, and STP is a platform for those creatives,” he said. “I’m stepping into a curator role, which is a new thing for me, but I don’t want to handle these incoming projects like a dictator. I want STP to be a self-sustaining thing.”

All profits from the sale of this latest delivery will go towards Serving The People to provide educational and creative programming worldwide. Purchase available items on STP’s web shop. Prices range between $48 USD and $85 USD.

Elsewhere, Thom Browne and FC Barcelona joined forces on a sophisticated charitable collection.
