Four Colorways of the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle Now Have a Rumored Release Date

After months of waiting, sneaker insiders, PY_RATES, is now noting a release date for the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle. Originally unveiled during sacai’s Fall/Winter 2020 showing in Paris earlier this year, the collaborative sneaker is set to arrive in four colorways next month.

Continuing designer Chitose Abe‘s penchant for hybrid design, the highly conceptual footwear style features an upper that melds elements of two high-performance pieces of Nike Running shoes. The aesthetic centered around deconstruction is defined by a complex layered structure accented by double midfoot Swooshes, dual tongue tags, stacked branding and intertwined laces. Elevating the upper is a layered sole unit marked by an aggressive lip at the heel.

Reportedly priced at $180 USD, the four colorways of the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle are now rumored to release November 6.
