Ahead of the launch for its latest limited-edition creation, supercar expert McLaren has tapped into its racing heritage once again by dressing the Elva in a classic Gulf livery, encompassing its aerodynamic bodywork in a light blue shade paired with bright orange accents iconic of the Pennsylvania-based oil company. No close-ups have been provided for its interior, but the images show a pair of white performance seats inside a windshield-less cabin.

Of course, it’s not the first time the British automaker has dressed its sportscars in Gulf’s signature colors in celebration of their longstanding partnership, one that began all the way back in the ’60s and still continues to this day. Over the years, we’ve vehicles like the F1 GTR, the 12C Spider, or the 675LT all wearing the orange and blue shades.

As for the limited-edition car itself, McLaren has reduced the number of units it’ll be making after feedback from its clients, moving the amount from 399 down to just 249. MSO will be offering a range of customizations for its buyers, and pricing for the supercar starting at roughly $1.7 million USD.

Elsewhere in the automotive world, Tesla will be releasing a Model Y with seven seats.
