Pro skater Grant Taylor and Nike SB have readied a new Nike ACG-inspired colorway of the SB Blazer Mid Pro GT. Drawing its color palette from the iconic Air Mowabb — a Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette that’s influenced dozens of Nike releases since its debut in 1991 — Taylor’s latest SB Blazer blends hiking and skateboarding in equal measures.
Uppers are dressed in an adventurous “Trail’s End Brown” hue and split into two defined pieces: a smooth suede forefoot and a tightly woven ballistic mesh heel. These two pieces are connected by a black rubberized Swoosh, with hiking-style brown laces driving the backcountry inspiration home further.
In true Air Mowabb fashion, tongues and heels alike supply a purple neoprene construction plus unique branded hits — the former’s brown and orange leather tag swaps out “ACG” for “GTP” and the latter’s Nike text hit is crafted from rubberized orange letters. Down below, black midsoles are doused in white speckles and black outsoles round off the look.
The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Pro GT “ACG” will release via the Nike GB webstore on October 10, and is priced at £90 GPB (approximately $116 USD).
