Filson's Smokey Bear Hoodie Looks to Its American Heritage
An emblem from the ‘76 Wildfire Prevention Campaign.

Filson has looked to its American heritage for inspiration behind a brand new piece this season: Smokey Bear hoodie.
The hoodie features a large print of “Smokey Bear” emblazoned at the back, a U.S. Forest Service emblem that first appeared in the Wildfire Prevention Campaign of 1944, later reappearing in 1976. Set against thick black 15.3 oz cotton, the print features a retro-style illustration of a bear wearing a yellow mountain ranger’s hat with the word “Smokey” emboldened across the front. “FILSON” branding is placed at the upper left side of the hoodie’s chest, while the slogan “Prevent Wildfires” is placed across the left arm. Other details like arm patches, drawstrings and kangaroo pockets complete the piece.
Filson’s “Smokey Bear” hoodie is currently available on Uncrate’s website for $175 USD.
In case you missed it, Filson has infused White’s Fire Hybrid boot with premium textiles.
