Feng Chen Wang x Converse Chuck 70 Gives You Two for the Price of One
The “2-in-1” design finds itself doubling up the sole unit, uppers, and more.

Feng Chen Wang and Converse are continuing their partnership this season with the release of the Chuck 70 “2-in-1” pack.
Following on from her Jack Purcell and Pro Leather, the Chinese designer has utilized her 2-in-1 approach once more with her take on the archival Chuck 70. By doing so, Feng Chen Wang has mastered the deconstructed DIY aesthetic, giving the sneaker a new, avant-garde lease of life.
Essentially, the sneakers look as if another Chuck 70 has been deconstructed and added onto the outside of the shoe’s entirety. For example, extra layers appear on both sides of the front and back, leaving only small gaps at the front and rear that showcase the original underlying shoe.
Feng Chen Wang’s Converse appear in a crisp black-and-white iteration, as well as a fall-ready orange colorway. Both feature her moniker stamped vertically along the heel tab and come with branded laces too. Details such as the license plate are split across the quad rear heel component, while the shoe’s original vamp has been left exposed for an added layer of contrast and height difference in the upper’s construction.
The Feng Chen Wang x Converse Chuck 70 “2-in-1” collection is set to release worldwide on Converse’s website on October 20, then hit HBX on October 22. Suggested retail is $1,399 HKD (approx. $180 USD). Take a closer look at the pairs above.
In other news, AMBUSH is also working on a pair of Converse Chuck 70s.
