ERL's Colorful New Capsule Is a Nod to Sunny Venice, Los Angeles
Loose, breezy mid-layers with custom detailing.
Eli Russell Linnetz‘s label ERL has dropped a colorful range of garments that reflect Los Angeles’ sunny Venice neighborhood, where Linnetz’s studio is based.
Spanning hoodies, T-shirts, tank tops, shorts and sweatpants, the assemblage is livened up by bright pop colors and reconstructed panels. One hoodie, seen on Kanye West in his latest Instagram post, is cut with a semi-loose fit and joined together at the middle by contrasting green and blue panels. Textured frays appear along a wavy seam where the two colors join, moving diagonally from the left shoulder to the right side of the hem — the red and orange hoodie follows a similar design. Other noteworthy pieces like the black hoodie etched with a “Venice” print, also shown on a white tee, solid-colored tank tops, various pocket T-shirts and hemmed high-cut cotton shorts round off the concise assemblage.
ERL’s green-blue hoodie has sold out on HBX and Dover Street Market London, while the red-yellow colorway and other pieces are still available via HBX and DSML’s website, ranging from $48 – $226 USD.
