Titleist's TSi Drivers and Fairway Metals Are Designed To Push the Boundaries of Speed
Designed to push push the boundaries of speed
After introducing its futuristic CNCPT CP-04 Irons, Titleist has now returned to unveil its new TSi Drivers and Fairway Metals.
Designed to push the boundaries of speed, the clubs are constructed of advanced engineering and material breakthroughs. More specifically, a new ATI 425 Aerospace Titanium face construction never before used in golf was employed to produce the longest, straightest, best-looking, and best-sounding Titleist drivers ever.
Made by a single foundry in Pittsburg, ATI 425 was initially developed for ballistic armor with superior strength, elasticity and durability versus the conventional titanium alloys used in golf. While the Fairway Metals feature advanced speed-tuned technology tuning like Active Recoil Channel 4.0 to drive faster ball speeds and generate higher inertia for longer distance with incredible accuracy.
Transcending the advancements of the original Titleist Speed Project, the new TSi2 and TSi3 driver models have been outfitted with player-tuned aerodynamics to propel the clubhead faster towards the golf ball. Upon impact, the added speed generated by the ATI 425 face is handled by the high inertia properties to keep the clubhead stable for consistent speed and spin providing longer, straighter drives. Clubheads on the TSi2 and TSi3 have been aerodynamically engineered with a softer toe profile to reduce drag up to 15 percent and marked with a new high-contrast graphic design for easy alignment at address.
Adding to the adjustable control element of the drivers, both the TSi2 and TSi3 feature Titleist’s patented SureFit hosel with 16 independent loft and lie settings, and headweight adjustability. The TSi3 also comes outfitted with a new SureFit CG track technology with five unique positions that adjust club head center of gravity to fine-tune ball flight.
Continuing much of the focus found on the drivers, the accompanying TSi2 and TSi3 Fairway Metals also feature player-tuned aerodynamics paired with the Active Recoil Channel (ARC) 4.0 and high inertia properties. The High-Speed VFT Face also marked with the new high-contrast graphic design allows players to maximize ball speed and forgiveness across the face. Despite the optimized weight distributions with refined crown and face thickness, the TSi3 also features SureFit CG Track Technology with Toe (T), Neutral (N) and Heel (H) clubhead positions.
Priced at $549 and $299 USD (Premium Graphite Design shaft $749 and $499 USD) respectively, the TSi Drivers and Fairway Metals are set to be available Titleist authorized retailers from November 12 with fittings beginning October 22.
