adidas Taps Pharrell Williams for Finely Woven Primeknit Superstars
Arriving in “Dark Green” and “Auburn” colorways.
adidas and Pharrell Williams have teamed up once again to put a modern spin on a classic footwear silhouette. After releasing their motorcross-indebted 0 to 60 STMT sneakers last month, the partners have now released Superstars made entirely from intricately woven Primeknit uppers.
Featured are “Dark Green” and “Auburn” colorways, enlivening the Superstar’s sleek mold. “ADIDAS” branding has been embroidered over the tongue, complemented by “HUMAN RACE” at the heel, while a small Trefoil label hangs from the medial side of the collars. The shoe comes with striped rope laces that lead to a Primeknit shell-toe. Breathable mesh weaves appear at the sidewalls. All of these details rest over a tonal rubber midsole, finalizing the sneaker’s minimal design.
The Pharrell Williams x adidas Superstar Primeknit in “Dark Green” and “Auburn” are currently available on adidas’ website for $154 USD.
