Xbox Series X and S Will Have 31 Optimized Titles on Launch Day

20 of which are Smart Delivery titles.

Ahead of its November launch for the next-generation Xbox Series X and S, Microsoft has now published a full list of games that will be optimized for the next-generation consoles from day one.

The entire list consists of 31 games, 20 of which will be Smart Delivery titles, meaning those who already own them for the Xbox One will get an automatic, free upgrade to their next-gen versions. The list includes:

  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (Smart Delivery)
  • Borderlands 3 (Smart Delivery)
  • Cuisine Royale (Smart Delivery)
  • Dead by Daylight (Smart Delivery and Xbox Game Pass)
  • DIRT 5 (Smart Delivery)
  • The Falconer (Smart Delivery)
  • Forza Horizon 4 (Smart Delivery and Xbox Game Pass)
  • Gears (Smart Delivery and Xbox Game Pass)
  • Gears Tactics (Smart Delivery and Xbox Game Pass)
  • Grounded (Smart Delivery and Xbox Game Pass)
  • King Oddball (Smart Delivery)
  • Maneater (Smart Delivery)
  • Manifold Garden (Smart Delivery)
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps (Smart Delivery and Xbox Game Pass)
  • Planet Coaster (Smart Delivery)
  • Sea of Thieves (Smart Delivery and Xbox Game Pass)
  • Tetris Effect: Connected (Smart Delivery and Xbox Game Pass)

Of course, this is just the list of optimized games for the new consoles, which mean they’re able to better utilize the new specs. There’ll also be hundreds of backwards-compatible titles you can play at launch for the Xbox Series X and S come November 10.

Elsewhere in gaming, Sony is updating its PlayStation Store to remove PS3, PS Vita, and PSP content.
