Tiffany & Co. Opens Temporary "Flagship Next Door" Location
While its iconic Fifth Avenue flagship undergoes a renovation.
Tiffany & Co. recently opened its Tiffany Flagship Next Door location, which will serve as the company’s flagship during the renovation of its iconic Fifth Avenue store, which has been in operation since 1940. The temporary store is located right next door to Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue flagship until the renovation is complete in late 2021.
The building combines industrial materials like concrete and stainless steel with nickel and Art Deco cases to create a more modern version of the original flagship’s classic aesthetic. Tiffany’s iconic collections are all showcased on the store’s main floor, its new men’s collection is featured on the second floor, and the top two floors are dedicated to engagement and home and accessories. In keeping with Tiffany’s high retail experience standards, a private selling room is located on each floor, along with a VIP salon.
The store is designed around a series of exaggerated escalators that accentuate a massive atrium in the center. Throughout its time as flagship, the store will experiment with the endless possibilities of the floor to ceiling atrium through rotating installations and exclusive partnerships.
Tiffany Flagship Next Door is currently open to the public at the address below until late 2021.
