Nike React City Sphere "Wolf Grey" Offers Shroud-Equipped Upper
A look that’s equal parts lifestyle and performance geared.
Nike‘s soft-yet-supportive React foam has garnered great acclaim for its use in running footwear, and now another React midsole-equipped silhouette has joined the Nike Running lineup: the React City Sphere. Combining the overall stylings of the Epic React line with a shroud-covered upper similar to the one seen on the Zoom Pegasus Turbo Shield, it presents a technical look that’s equally performance and lifestyle geared, complete with a sleek “Wolf Grey” colorway.
Marled grey knit uppers are encased in a synthetic shroud, which itself is dressed in a marbled grey and black pattern reminiscent of Kendrick Lamar‘s collaborative React Element 55 from 2019. This is equipped with a crisp white Swoosh, faint grey shapes and a white mapped print. Technical text appears on the medial midfoot as well.
High-cut sock collars, heel tabs and clips are all dressed in stark black, with a black branded tab appearing directly under the collar. Down below, a full-foot React midsole offers the line’s signature comfort and features sturdy black rubber under high-wear areas in the heel/forefoot for increased longevity.
