Images of a New Potential Nike LeBron 17 “More Than An Athlete” Have Surfaced
A bright, citrusy colorway.
Last month, LeBron James‘s UNINTERRUPTED and Nike teamed up for the second installment of the LeBron 17 “More Than An Athlete,” a shoe born out of a phrase that the NBA star felt would inspire others to strive for greatness. Now, however, it appears the silhouette might be due for another bold makeover: courtesy of @frankiewalkersr, images of a bright orange iteration have surfaced.
Much like the blue model, this particular colorway comes with the same design features, boasting a high-cut construction with Battleknit uppers and smooth leather tongue guards. There is one subtle difference, however, at the tongue — where the crown logo was at the top of the cover in the blue colorway has been placed at the bottom, near the throat line, swapping places with the circular UNINTERRUPTED logo. Between the two motifs, “More Than An Athlete” has been embroidered in black, popping out from its bright citrus-toned base. Furthermore, the sneakers see round black laces, complemented by scaly-block patterns that start from the heel and diminish around the forefoot. All of these details sit above a glossy white midsole, marked with a thin black outline of a reversed Swoosh.
Though no further details of the shoe have been released yet, keep it locked here for more news on the potential release.
In case you missed it, Nike has unveiled the Golf Air Max 97 G “Grass,” mimicking the golf course.
