GOOPiMADE & SYNDRO Link up for Heritage-Inspired Cut and Sew
Dubbed “Golden Age.”
Following its utilitarian collection “LAYERS-03,” from last week, GOOPiMADE has returned with a new collaboration with Taiwan-based label SYNDRO, presenting a series of well-crafted cut and sew garments imbued with a heritage feel.
Dubbed “Golden Age,” the capsule sees billowing oversized cuts, like long parkas, patchwork denim, slub tees and multi-pocketed cargo denim, colored in deep rich indigo dyes, dark olive, black and beige. One noteworthy piece is a big olive anorak, detailed with hand-sewn patches at the front. Just under the collars are a set of crisp white laces that the wearer can adjust for a more fitted look. Below are two dark green patches, layered over each other, followed by deep pockets at the hem, appearing both at the front and back of the piece.
Another highlight is a dark brown parka with an exterior water-resistant shell. At the front are tonal buttons and a central closure that comes with a large center compartment, complemented by welt pockets at the waist and pouches at the hem. The jacket is also reversible, lined entirely with dark, softly textured denim. Other garments like baggy trousers, crewnecks and graphic tees round up the concise range.
The SYNDRO x GOOPiMADE “Golden Age” capsule is currently available at GOOPiMADE’s website, ranging from $50 – $173 USD.
