adidas Football Updates Predator With New Demonskin Technology

adidas Football has returned to its iconic Predator football boot with an all-new design for 2020. The boot has been designed to maximize ball control, with adidas using its latest technology. Dubbed Demonskin, the technology sees a textured spike layer across the upper in key contact points, allowing players’ enhanced control and touch as well as encouraging the ball to spin.

Other features of the design include a high-collar and low-cut front, while the boot’s outsole enhances the control zones of the foot. Additionally, player movement is assisted through high-performance polyamide-injected layers, while a two-plate stud construction reduces weight.

The boot will be worn by players including Paul Pogba and Barcelona’s Marc-André ter Stegen, who will also wear a special pair of goalkeeping gloves complete with the Demonskin spike technology.
