Bo Jackson‘s days of dominance on the gridiron and diamond alike are long over, but the greatest multi-sport athlete of all time remains in the spotlight thanks to his legendary Nike footwear. One of Bo’s most popular styles was the Air Trainer SC High, a shoe that just released in a New York-centric colorway. With a blend of black, blue and orange that simultaneously calls to mind images of the New York Knicks and New York Mets, these multi-purpose trainers cut a bold swath.

Designed to be just as versatile as Bo himself, the SC Trainer features a 5/8 cut perforated leather upper, which is dressed in black here. Color is applied immediately, with the midfoot’s lockdown-focused overlays, the heel branding and the tongue trim all presented in blue.

There’s a plentiful helping of orange as well, mainly centered around the collar, midfoot Swooshes and forefoot overlays on the upper. Down below, orange also appears in speckled fashion on the Air Max-equipped midsole. A large black mudguard and toe cap add further texture, with a multi-purpose outsole completing the look.

This vivid Nike Air Trainer SC is available now for $130 USD via the Nike webstore.
