New Balance Gives the 990v5 a Bold "Molten Lava" Makeover
More fire for your feet.
Following its collaborative stint alongside HAVEN for a new CORDURA and 3M-filled take on the 990v5 silhouette, New Balance has tapped the Made in US model for a bold new all-red take. Officially dubbed the “Molten Lava/Fireball” colorway, the latest Made in US 990v5 sees a variety of bright red hues taking center stage. On the upper, “Molten Lava” red can be seen throughout the mesh and pig suede paneling, with the plastic cage and heel cap featuring darker “Fireball” tones. The tongue features the Made in US New Balance patch, this time opting for a solely red take. All of this sits atop of a red and white ENCAP midsole which is further met by a treaded rubber gum sole.
