Kobe Bryant to Be Inducted Into Basketball Hall of Fame

Kobe Bryant, who tragically passed yesterday morning, will be honored amongst NBA greats later this August. The legendary basketball star — known for his competitive prowess and immeasurable skill — will be immortalized in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame later this year.
As shared by NBA journalist Shams Charania, the Massachusetts-based museum and hall of fame will induct Bryant as part of the organization’s 2020 class. “Expected to be arguably the most epic class ever with Kobe, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett,” HOF chairman Jerry Colangelo shared. “Kobe will be honored the way he should be.”
Kobe, a five-time NBA champion, 18-time all-star, and the fourth-leading scorer in the league’s history was an unmatchable force in the world of basketball. The other finalists for the 2020 class will be announced on February 14 during All-Star Weekend, with the rest of the inductees set to be announced in April at the Final Four. The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place in Springfield, Massachusetts on August 29.
Kobe Bryant will be a first-ballot enshrinement into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2020.
