The First Trailer for Netflix’s ‘Narcos: Mexico’ Season 2 Teases the End of the Party
“No one stays on top forever.”
Following the original series focusing on Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar and coming off Season 1 of its Mexican spinoff, Netflix released a teaser for its follow-up season of Narcos: Mexico. After Guadalajara cartel boss Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) took on the DEA and undercover agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena (Michael Peña), we see that no one is untouchable, not even Félix himself.
Now Gallardo must avoid the U.S. government and the consequences of his actions against the DEA while facing possible betrayal from within his organization. This theme is illustrated by showing Gallardo and his crew eating at a big dinner table similar to the Last Supper. Underneath the table, beyond the smiles and jokes at the table, sees that everyone has a secret gun pointed at each other.
Narcos: Mexico Season 2 premieres February 13 on Netflix.
