Latest Trailer for 'Narcos: Mexico' Season 2 Sees the Divide of a Drug Empire
All 10-episodes will arrive on Valentine’s Day.
Ahead of its premiere next month, Netflix has dropped a new trailer for Narcos: Mexico season 2, showcasing Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) as the godfather of a now divided drug empire. “The Americans will try to stop us, but they will fail,” Gallardo states in the trailer above. “Now you’ll see what happens when the cage breaks open and all the animals run free.”
We also see the DEA getting more aggressive to take down the Guadalajara cartel following the death of agent Kiki Camarena. Actor Scoot McNairy will also make his official debut this season as the agent in charge of Operation Leyenda, the task force that will eventually avenge Camarena. His casting had been kept a secret, however now Netflix describes his character as “a hardened DEA agent whose methods aren’t always by the book.”
All 10 episodes of Narcos: Mexico Season 2 arrive on Netflix Thursday, February 13.
