Future & Drake Work 9-To-5s in Visual for New Single "Life Is Good"
With cameos from 21 Savage, Lil Yachty and Mike WiLL Made-It.
After weeks of teasing a potential return, famed What a Time to Be Alive duo Future and Drake come together for a new single and music video titled “Life Is Good” featuring a brawling beat supplied by OZ and D. Hill.
The first portion of the new cut is supplied by Drake, who appears to shoot shots at Kanye West with lyrics like “N*ggas gotta move off my release day, huh,” referencing their long feud alongside a chorus that alludes to his son Adonis and more. The beat then proceeds to switch up, with Future coming in with his syrupy flow over a more front-heavy trap backdrop. Here, Future taps into his characteristic wordplay, referencing the Taliban and extended Dracos, equally telling of the come up from his bando days.
In the visual for the single, the two rappers can be seen working regular 9-to-5s, selling smartphones in a store, operating as mechanics in an auto shop, and working the counters at a makeshift fast-food restaurant. The video equally includes cameos by Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, Mike WiLL, and Big Bank Black.
