Converse is prepping for temperatures to drop with the PrimaLoft-infused Chuck 70. Usually found in puffy outdoor apparel, this synthetic microfiber thermal insulation material was first developed for the United States Army in the ’80s before making its way to brands like The North Face and Patagonia.
The winterized and water-proof silhouette arrives in gradient “Royal Blue” and “Rose Maroon” colorways, highlighting the upper’s all-over soft white checkerboard pattern. Branding hits can be found on the inner Converse ankle patch, heel plate and the PrimaLoft tag atop the heel stitching. Both iterations rest on the classic white midsole and black lining tied together with matching white laces for a clean finish.
The Converse Chuck 70 Hi Gradient Primaloft “Rose Maroon” and “Royal Blue” are available now at Capsule Toronto for approximately $100 USD each.
