Virgil Abloh Reveals Invitation for Louis Vuitton's FW20 Paris Fashion Week Presentation
Titled “Heaven on Earth.”
After teasing Off-White™’s Fall/Winter 2020 Paris Fashion Week presentation and his “Efflorescence” gallery exhibition, Virgil Abloh recently took to Instagram to reveal the invitation for Louis Vuitton‘s FW20 runway show.
Just days before the presentation, the men’s Artistic Director showed off the LV logo marked clock that serves as the invite and noted the title of the collection will be “Heaven on Earth.” Coming in a specially marked cardboard box, the wall clock comes in monochromatic gray with the numbers replaced by LV logos and the hands turning counter-clockwise. According to Virgil, “the invite is a literal piece of time. the clock tho, I re-wired to spin backwards. There’s also to that metaphor in that but also, as they say ‘a broke clock is right twice a day…’”
