Bad Bunny Honors Kobe Bryant With New Song "6 Rings"
“You won 6 rings, 5 with the NBA and one in a marriage that gave you your daughters.”

As the sporting and world at large mourns the tragic death of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi after a fatal helicopter crash, heartfelt tributes continue to pour in from the music world. Kanye West and Chance The Rapper recently eulogized Bryant during the Chicago rappers’ ongoing Sunday Service festivities. Now Puerto Rican trap and reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny offers up his own farewell to one of the NBA’s greatest players to ever lace up a pair of signature sneakers with a new two-minute track “6 Rings.”
Bryant famously won 5 NBA Championships during the course of his incredible 20-season career, but here Bad Bunny adds another ring into the mix for Kobe’s ability to win at life. “You won 6 rings, 5 with the NBA and one in a marriage that gave you your daughters/ Thinking that one of them left with you, got me outta control/ But nah, it’s so you don’t play ball alone in heaven,” Bunny sings in Spanish. “I still remember the first game of yours I witnessed, the excitement and the many times you got me on my feet … You showed me that everything in life is done with passion. To win, you have to have a heart.”
