HANON Teams up With Padmore & Barnes for Hand-Crafted P500 Plain Toe Collab

Menswear outpost HANON has teamed up with heritage Irish shoemaker Padmore & Barnes once more for two hand-made takes on its P500 Plain Toe silhouette.

The collaboration is highly-limited with just 48 pairs per colorway: brown and olive. These special-edition HANON pairs are made with No.1 plantation crepe and the finest Italian velour suedes, which are then hand-stitched to channel the traditional craft Padmore & Barnes has perfected since 1934.

All 96 pairs produced are made with the original lasts from the 1960s and feature premium details such as leather lace stays with two eyelets as well as a leather heel tab at the rear. The rear quarter sports a debossed HANON flame logo, as does the leather insoles, which are branded with both parties’ monikers in gold foil.

Each pair is presented in a limited-edition box complete with gold foil branding on the lid and a custom HANON hangtag. The collection follows on from last year’s take on the Padmore & Barnes Willow remake, which was equally just as limited.
