Sony Is Already Working on 'Bad Boys 4'

The iconic duo are back for even more.

Bad Boys for Life is having an impressive opening weekend, raking in $66 million USD over the four-day holiday weekend, far exceeding the predicted $38 million USD opening. It’s also set a new January record for its Thursday night preview earnings, bringing in a whopping $6.36 million USD over that single night alone, so it comes as no surprise that Sony has just announced that the fourth installment to the Bad Boys franchise is already in the works.

Of course, without Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, there would be no Bad Boys, so the iconic duo are set to reprise their roles as the two old-school gun-slinging cops. Given the success of the latest installment, its screenwriter Chris Bremner is set to return for the next title as well, but since it’s still at an extremely early stage, there’s not much more information on whether directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will return, or when the release date would be.

If you’re a fan of Bad Boys, definitely stay tuned for more updates to come.

Elsewhere in entertainment, The Pokémon Company is now releasing ASMR videos.
