Awake NY Reworks Carhartt WIP Staples in New Collaborative Capsule

Following the release of its collaborative Sport Trekker boot with Timberland last week, New York-based streetwear imprint Awake NY has returned with a workwear-heavy range alongside Carhartt WIP. Offering twelve pieces in total, the newly-unveiled capsule brings together Carhartt’s utilitarian aesthetics alongside Awake NY’s street-fueled sensibilities.

Aptly taking inspiration from vintage hunting gear, the capsule highlights the workwear brand’s Michigan Coat staple, reworked to include contrast pockets and panels throughout, finished with embroidered co-branding on the backside. The two brands have also included a new take on Carhartt WIP’s American Script Sweatshirts, offered up in three unique contrast stitch iterations: Carhartt’s signature Hamilton Brown featuring blue stitching, Awake NY’s characteristic Bright Blue featuring orange stitching, and black featuring purple stitching. Three pocket T-shirts with both brands’ iconography, as well as a Watch Hat beanie in black, Hamilton Brown, and Bright Blue round out the collection.

The collection launches via an exclusive pop-up at Carhartt WIP’s Paris flagship on January 17 at 11:00 a.m. GMT and will launch online via Awake NY’s webstore on January 17 at 10:00 a.m. EST. Select global retailers will have the capsule available on Saturday, January 18.
