Backstage at RHUDE for Paris Fashion Week FW20 Offered Vans, Formalwear & Luxe Goods
Reconsidering tailoring while offering a selection of bold Vans Authentics.

Rhuigi Villaseñor‘s Los Angeles-based label RHUDE presented its first-ever Paris Fashion Week show for Fall/Winter 2020, delivering a calling on environmental action.
On the catwalk, RHUDE’s “Spirit of Ecstasy” show delivered a combination of relaxed tailoring and sportswear-indebted looks, littered with nuances of American cultures throughout. Backstage, however, HYPEBEAST caught a closer look at some of RHUDE’s most notable pieces, ranging from its referenced accessories such as the cigarette box bag and its upcoming series of collaborative Vans.
Aside from the bold traditional prints found on its knitwear, luxurious long-line leather coats and cozy winter staples, RHUDE’s Vans collaboration stole the show. Backstage we see a variety of Vans Authentics, coming in colorways including a multicolored paisley print made from premium smooth suede and a muted off white-hued pair with black paisley detailing and branded laces.
In true RHUDE form, there was a smattering of varsity-informed pieces such as an oversized jacket adorned with leather trims and branded appliqués. Contrasting this was the formal looks, with notable offerings including a tailored leather jacket with white piping, a pair of black-and-white Penny loafers, an asymmetrical double-breasted blazer and a standout, belted checkered wool overcoat.
